The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of our favourite attractions. In this feature we take a look at the ride and sort of collectibles and memorabilia that can be found at the location. The spooky Tower Hotel Gifts is the main gift shop for the ride and you will visit on exiting but you can by-pass the ride and head directly to the shop.
As well as being a favourite ride we also the love the shop, the ambience, its lighting and its merchandise. Most merchandise and collectibles are themed around the Hotel, Nightmare Before Christmas and The Haunted Mansion ride.

The Story Behind the Ride
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is based on the classic television series “The Twilight Zone” created by Rod Serling. It tells the story of a group of people who are transported to an alternate dimension after they get stuck in an old hotel elevator during a thunderstorm. As you queue up for the ride, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back in time to 1930s Hollywood, with vintage décor and Rod Serling himself narrating your journey.

Once it’s time to board the elevator, buckle up because you’re in for a wild ride! You’ll experience sudden drops and upward thrusts as you make your way through haunted hallways and eerie corridors. And just when you think it’s all over, there may be one last surprise waiting for you!
