This Magical World of Disney PG Tips Card Collection is a great set of cards that can still be picked up for less than £10/$15.
It contains 17 pages of Disney information which contain one to two collectors cards. There were 25 cards in the collection.
The Disney characters and films include: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto characters from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Dumbo, Bambi, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, and Winnie the Pooh. Daisy Duck must have upset somebody at planning as she is the only main character that is missing.
All the pages are Disney classics except the last page which is Oliver & Company. The set was set for release in 1989 and the film Oliver & Company was scheduled for release in the UK during Christmas 1989 so it made its way into the set.
Cards could be collected from packs of PG Tips, the larger the pack the more carsd would have been in the packet. A special album was also produced and could be obtained from Brooke Bond for 40p. We feature all the pages from the album and the cards below. Each card measures 68mm x 36mm.
